September was a month to regroup and reassess our efforts in Seattle. The 501c3 application is now being reviewed by the IRS. The school hosted an on-site visit from Luann Rodriquez, President of the World Education Fund, in New York. She toured the facility and was impressed by the staff and the program. She met with students and commented that their good behavior and affection for the school was unusual in her experience in Latin America and reflected well on our program, staff and students. She believes we will succeed. This endorsement was both gratifying and reinforcing in what we are doing.

Other exciting news was that we fielded our first all girls soccer team! This is a great step for Quero Ser and the community!
